Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of GribLak, the app that connects clients and artisans in Morocco. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.
1. The service
GribLak helps you find an artisan and follow the job. The work, its price and its payment are agreed directly between the client and the artisan: GribLak is not a party to that agreement and does not employ the artisans.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and give accurate information, including your phone number. One account belongs to one person, who can be both a client and an artisan. You are responsible for what is done with your account: keep your password to yourself.
3. Requests
A request goes to the artisan you choose. You can have up to 3 pending requests for the same trade: as soon as one artisan accepts, your other requests for that trade close automatically. Without an answer, a request expires after 2 hours if it is urgent, 24 hours for “Today” and 48 hours for “This week”. You can change the place until an artisan accepts.
4. Artisans' missions
To receive requests, your profile must be approved by our team and you must be “Available”. You can only have one mission in progress at a time: until it is finished you cannot accept another one, and the clients who wrote to you are told you are on a mission. Answer before requests expire: a reminder is sent halfway, never between 10 pm and 7 am.
5. End of the job
When the artisan says the work is done, the client confirms or refuses and explains why. When the artisan finishes, the app asks for their position: if they are within 300 m of the place and at least 30 minutes after accepting, they can take a new mission straight away. Otherwise they can once the client answers, and at the latest 12 hours later. Marking work as done when it is not is forbidden.
6. How artisans are ranked
In the results, available artisans come before those on a mission. They are then ranked by distance, how quickly they answer, their rating, the requests they left unanswered and the reports they received. No artisan can pay to rank higher.
7. Reviews
After a confirmed job, the client can leave a rating and a comment, published straight away. A review must be about the actual job. We may hide a review that is abusive, off-topic or contains personal data: it then no longer counts in the artisan's rating.
8. Reports and blocking
The client and the artisan can report each other about a request: no-show, work marked done without being done, behaviour, price not kept or scam, unpaid job. The reported person does not know who reported them, but is warned at each report. If 3 different people report them within 90 days, their whole account is blocked, as a client and as an artisan, and their open requests are closed. Our team sets aside unfounded reports, and you can contest a block by writing to us.
9. Prices and payments
GribLak is free for clients: you only pay for the job, directly to the artisan. For artisans, GribLak is free during the launch in Morocco. If a subscription becomes necessary, it will be announced in the app in advance, with its terms and a free trial period.
10. What is not allowed
Giving false information, creating several accounts, harassing or insulting, changing the agreed price without reason, using other users' contact details for anything other than the job, posting unlawful content, or trying to disrupt the app.
11. Liability
GribLak connects people and provides tools to follow a job. We do not guarantee the quality or the result of a job, which are the artisan's responsibility. Within the limits of the law, our liability is limited to damage caused directly by how the app works.
12. Suspension and account deletion
We may suspend or block an account that breaks these terms or the law. You can delete your account at any time from Profile > Personal information: your open requests are then cancelled and the other party is told.
13. Changes
These terms change as the service changes. For any important change, we tell you in the app before it applies.
14. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. For any question or complaint, write to us at contact@griblak.com.
